When I come as a coach or advisor I become an informal member of your team. I’m in the moment with you, bringing all my tools, background, and experience, and my outside, external perspective.
I’m here to help you increase your effectiveness.
I’ll use coaching principles of deep listening and asking open-ended questions to enrich your understanding of the work or situation.
I bring years of experience to the table. For 20 years I worked in various levels of management in national NGOs and nonprofits. I have been a consultant for 15 years.

Both in-person and virtually, my trainings are highly adaptive and interactive. I utilize the full capability of online platforms to enhance learning. This means my in-person and virtual trainings combine aspects of immediate participant feedback, presentation, conversation, experiential activities, video, demonstrations, individual reflection, and suggested work between sessions.
My trainings are designed to facilitate a change in thinking AND practice. I give you opportunities to try things/adapt in real time. This means providing ideas and time for you to bridge what you are learning back to your own situation.
